Our Basic Approach to Fees

At 7JO Administrative Scrivener Office, we first take the time to understand your situation and goals then propose the most suitable residence status and application procedure.
If you are satisfied with our proposal, we will sign a service agreement and begin preparing your documents and handling the application process.

Our fee estimates are generally based on the amount of staff time required for your case.
Even for the same type of application, the total amount may vary depending on your background and specific circumstances.
For this reason, we provide a detailed quotation after the free initial consultation, once we have heard the full details of your case.

The fee table below is calculated based on the typical amount of time required for each combination of residence status and application type.

Statutory Fees

Please note that the following government fees are required separately at the time your application is approved:

• ¥6,000 for Change of Status of Residence or Extension of Period of Stay
• ¥10,000 for Permanent Resident applications

Document Preparation Support Plans

These plans are designed for applicants who will prepare and submit their own documents, while receiving our guidance and support throughout the process.

Consultation (Second and Subsequent Sessions)	¥5,500 / hour	You may consult with us freely either in person or online. If advance research or preparation is required, the time spent will be included. (we will provide a quotation beforehand.)
Document Preparation Support (Email)	¥33,000 / 30 days This plan renews automatically.	We will provide advice on document preparation and review your drafted documents via email. There is no limit on the number of questions, and we will generally reply once per day.
Document Preparation Support (Email + Video Calls)	¥66,000 / 30 days This plan renews automatically.	If support beyond one month is necessary, it will be treated as a full application service. We will provide document preparation advice and review your drafted documents via email and online meetings. Email support is unlimited with replies about once per day. Video calls are available once per week (1 hour).

On-Site Consultations

For consultations within Kagawa Prefecture, no travel fee will be charged.
For consultations outside Kagawa, we will charge a travel fee of ¥22,000 per day, plus actual transportation and accommodation costs.
If travel fees apply, we will provide a quotation in advance.
